In the event, the first joke of the political season:

Never mind the 3am call, which presidential candidate would you trust your kids with?

If you left them with the Obamas, they'd not only be fine when you came back, but their manners would have improved, they'd always clear their dinner dishes, and they would have learned a musical instrument and the rudiments of a foreign language.

If you left them with the McCains they would get to stay in their own house with servants included.

If you left them with the Bidens, they'd return knowing all about trains and with new credit cards that are charged to the max.

And with the Palins? One would be sniffing glue, one would be pregnant, and the third would be fighting the clap. On the other hand, they'd all have been forced to go to church, and they'd have learned to play hockey.

Yeah, it's kinda mean. So what? Palin's shown herself to be pretty mean, not to mention an out-and-out liar. It sure does blow our socks off when someone lies so blatantly and repeatedly about things that are very easy to disprove. Maybe that's why Oldy McMoldy is keeping the press away from her (and lying barefacedly about it).
