Caturday
A Sleepy Coot In All His Fluffitude
Disclaimer: That's Gustav's ear intruding into the picture.
Maru the Crankpot started it!
I decided to go against the grain and be difficult and blog cats on Saturday instead of Friday. So sue me. No, don't, please. Life sucks enough.
The Cootten has a cold. He's being extra-kittenish, but since he's much too large to be considered a kitten, we have to make up a new term for him. So Cootten it is, till he recovers. Many kisses on his poor pink nose, which he keeps licking. Poor li'l guy. I mean, poor enormous lout.
Gojira, aka The WahWah Petal
She cannot get enough of her kittentude, I tell you. Fuller of herself than a pillow is of down. She sometimes mixes her drinks - wine and sake. I wonder if that's why she gets extra frisky after lights-out, leaping about under the bed in pursuit of dustbunnies, or imaginary toys.
Although SOMEkitty has been bringing the white terrycloth bunny or the blue raccoon up to bed every single night lately. We used to think Gustav did it to appease us but it might be someone else, since Gustav's legs are too wonky for him to be carrying stuff now. We keep throwing it down the stairs only to find it either in the bed or close by on the floor multiple times a day.
Thanks to the poison in cat food scares of late, we're switching them to homecooked once the kibble runs out. Let's hope it works.
I'll try anything to get old Pumpkin-Butt slimmed down.

Oh! I love your babies! How do cats get colds? I don't remember my two Siamese ever having a cold. Poor baby!
Bandicoot is a hoot and I guess Gustav and his ear are in his usual place next to Bandicoot? So sweet.
p.s. You might like this website:

(I don't know if this will show up as a link -- you might have to paste the URL to get it to work).
I saw a picture of Sorbian Easter Eggs at Maru's site and googled Sorbian Easter Eggs. This is the delightful website of a school in Germany that teaches the children how to do the intricate Easter eggs. They also describe their gardens and try to describe the process of doing the Easter eggs. Very sweet and old-worldish -- teaching local age-old crafts and gardening, etc.
For some reason the whole URL didn't show up (there is a lot about computers that I don't know!)

Hi, Sandy. I don't know how cats get colds, but mine have had a few. Their doctor sez, "Make 'em stay in bed and give them chicken soup!" They are sweet, and I love them dearly.
Thanks for that link. Beautiful!
