Iraq - Success

Depends on how you define it, I suppose. Is it success when members of rival sectarian groups are blown to bits in the middle of a peace conference? Via Raw Story comes this report from AFP:
A suicide bomber blew himself up inside a mosque during a reconciliation meeting between two feared militias near Iraq's restive city of Baquba on Monday, killing at least nine people.

Another 15 people were wounded in the attack which killed seven police officers, including three high-ranking ones from Baquba police, a security official said.

The official said the reconciliation meeting was between the Shiite Mahdi Army militia and the Sunni insurgent group, the Brigades of the 1920 Revolution.
The governor and the police chief of Diyala province were at the event, which was the ceremonial evening meal marking the end of the day's fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It's not clear whether they were among the dead or wounded.

Meanwhile both the Iraqis and the Iranians are furious over the detention of an Iranian in Iraq, who was apparently there at the invitation of the Kurdish authorities as well as the Iraqi government. Jalal al-Talabani is having a fit, and the puppet nature of the Iraqi regime is finally seen in that they lack the authority to expel a bunch of murderous mercenaries who are killing their citizens from their own country.

So much for your purple fingers, Iraqi people. Blackwater and Bush give you a middle finger instead.
