Food: Dead Chicken Parts
This is for BustedKnuckles, that Ornery Bastard.
Grilled Spicy Chicken
Ingredients:
8 chicken thighs
~2 Tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 Tbsp coarse-ground black peppercorns
Toast coriander seeds in a dry pan, stirring to keep from getting burned. When the seeds turn golden-brown and start smelling toasted, turn off the stove, let cool, then grind in a clean coffee-grinder to a powder.
Place chicken thighs in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, 1 Tbsp. coriander powder, and cayenne pepper or hot red chilli powder (the Indian not the New Mexican) and rub spices into chicken. Let sit half-hour to one hour. Grill. Eat.
It's fucking good. And it's too fucking hot to really cook anyway. Serve with salad and rice or bread.
Please don't shave the cat.
Cook's Notes: Save any leftover coriander powder. You'll want to make this recipe again. You can always substitute lemon juice for the salt, but add it after grilling. Zest the lemon, slicing the zest as fine as you can, and garnish chicken with it to serve. Simplest recipe in the world and good eats, too. Stumble It!
