B.A.D. New Blogs

We notice several bloggers are posting their entire blogroll, but we're not sure we want to do that. We really like what we're finding in the blogosphere, and dumping a bunch of links in a single long post is good for the Technorati rankings, but we think reading each blog and attempting to call out what we liked about it goes a long way to building repeat traffic for that blog. Plus, it makes us feel better about the whole thing. It elevates it to a genuine linking of interesting things and places, and less of a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch your'n" deal.

But chacun a son gout, as they, whoever they are, say, except they get to do it with accents of various kinds that I can't here reproduce.

Blogs we found recently:

• Over at DaveAwayFromHome, Dave does a nice job of explaining school funding. Plus, his T-shirt model is a cutie!
  
  
• Distributor cap over at distributorcapNY takes so much pleasure in ripping people, one can't help but feel pleased; we walked away humming an earworm we won't inflict on you.
  
  
• DrugMonkey talks about drug use and the perception of risk associated therewith, and you don't even have to be a science geek to understand him, although it helps, fersure;
  
  
• ex-lion tamer talks about the fetishization of militarism and violence in our culture (and we really appreciate his fondness for lower-case);
  
  
• Ever civil and genteel, the Fallen Monk dispenses wisdom, recipes, and practical directions to serenity with grace;
  
  
• Heywood over at Hammer of The Blogs tells us what Florida will look like in the primaries and the general. Don't look if you can't handle his language.
  
  
• Old pal Rack Jite has a fine time beating the crap out of McCain and Bush and anyone else he can use his sharp tongue on, while explaining Texas caucus-delegate-primary BOOYAH! to anyone who wants to listen.
