$70 Billion more for Iraq
I see in the news that Democrats are set to roll over like obedient little dogs for Bush and give him another $70 Billion for the illegal, immoral war and occupation of Iraq. Money for our children? Not so much, as Bush is all set to scold the Democrats for being bad and he will happily veto any increase needed for our children. Democrats will whine and complain but nothing will come of it.
This is all criminal of course but guess what. I no longer blame President hero for life Bush. After all, he needs the $70 Billion for his wars for corporate profit and to line the pockets of his buddies at Blackwater and Halliburton.
No. I blame the Democrats for being the spineless, sniveling bureaucrats that they are. I have tried everything I could think of to light a fire under Democrats to get them going, to do the right thing and without success. And in the end what is the final score? Bush all wins, no losses. Democrats, zero for everything.
My vote for Democrats next year should be automatic but it won't be. I have already left the Democratic party in protest, registering as an independent. But now I'm even thinking of taking it further and becoming a Republican and voting Republican and contributing $$$ to the Republican Party and campaigning for Republican candidates even though I hate everything they stand for.
But I like a winner and Republicans know how to win. Democrats? Not so much. Neither will Democrats go to the wall to fight for what they are supposed to believe in. No, Democrats just melt into a puddle of warm urine and give Republicans everything they want.
No, its even worse than that. Democrats are complicit, accomplices to the crimes of the Bush regime. No wonder Nancy Pelosi took impeachment off the table. She is an accomplice to torture herself and who knows what else. She would have to impeach herself too.
And so I hope Republicans sweep the elections next year even though they will slit my economic throat when they do. But I no longer care as I've had it with the Democrats. I've fucking had it and I have no joy in it. YAY REPUBLICANS! Stumble It!

By the way TPC and Ms. Manitoba, it will be a very cold day in hell before I vote for a stinking repiglican. But I wrote this post to our Senators and my Congressman to keep the heat on.
Well, I've often thought that maybe we should switch to the Republican party ... but it would have to be in the millions and then take it over! Not likely. But it once was a fantasy.
The real solution is to have strong third and fourth and fifth etc political parties. Real discussion and competition. And also to reform campaign finance. That's why Democrats don't do anything -- it all comes down to money, non?
I think you are right on all counts and while I will vote for the occasional Democrat, don't be surprised if I fill out the rest of my ballot with Green candidates!
