Politics - Supporting the Troops

Roll Call. AP reports on how your congresscritters voted. No Democrats voted against the bill to give the troops more rest time between deployments.

I guess this means we now know who really supports the troops:
Supporters fell four votes shy of the 60 they needed to bring the amendment up as part of a defense bill.

Voting "yes" (to give the troops more rest time) were 49 Democrats, 6 Republicans and 1 independent.

Voting "no" were 0 Democrats, 43 Republicans and 1 independent.

Well, folks, it's time to write your Congresscritter and let them know that the troops are exhausted and overworked and we need to give them more rest time between deployments. You know where to find them. Don't let them hide behind any more mealy-mouthed "support the troops" bullshit.

Put your money where your mouth is. If you support the troops, give them time with their families.
