A Moment of Silence

We all know what day it is.

President Barack Obama has challenged us to turn this day into a positive memorial to those who died by making it a day of service.

So mote it be.

We're off to do our bit for the neighbourhood and fire prevention. Have a wonderful Friday and a wonderful weekend, all.

It is the only fitting tribute that we can certainly do with honor.

A fitting tribute our "leaders" could give the day is withdraw from Afghanistan, Iraq and cease our meddling on foreign soil and think deeply about our progress as a nation since this day fell down.

Yes, we all know what day it is. Except for the Coast Guard that set off a security scare near the Pentagon.
