Congratulations to former President Bill Clinton for meeting with Kim Jong Il and escorting American journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling back to the United States. The Huffington Post reports that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and staff have been busy negotiating the journalists' release for the past month.

It was REALLY nice to hear Teh Moustache of Braggadocio, John "Arsehole" Bolton, yawping endlessly about how Clinton was playing into N. Korea's tricky evil Communist ways and would NEVAH EVAH succeed, even as Bill was getting the women released. Quietly but effectively. I guess Bolton's crawled back under his rock today to wipe teh egg off his face.
Personally I think that Kim Jong Il just wanted a celebrity to show up and negotiate--sort of a legitimization thing. It could have been Brad Pitt or Britney Spears.
Hey, Kvatch. If that's what Li'l Kim wants, I say I'm glad we done gave it to him. The ladies are back home, safe and sound, and everyone's happy. Kudos to Hillary for her outstanding job of behind-the-scenes negotiations that allowed Bill to do this.
