I loved the cupcakes for Helen. I have loved her for quite some time.
I find it somewhat depressing to find myself 8 years older than the President of the USA. I suppose the thing about having birthdays is that the alternative somewhat sucks.

Hey, themom - yeah, Helen is the Grande Dame of the WH Press Corp, and the President was very gracious to remember and celebrate her birthday in such a gallant manner. Every mother should have such a kid.
Hey, Chuck - yeah, it's kinda hard for me too, that young whippersnapper is young enough to be my baby brother or something. Still, as you pointed out, the alternative is better not contemplated.
