Wow That is beautiful!!!!!!
I am just so happy.
He has won
Hi School for the girls!
And yes, it is so beautiful and I am so happy too. For the first time in 8 long years I have hope. I feel like our long national nightmare over here is coming to an end and a new day is coming both for America and the world. Make no mistake, Obama has a real mess to try and clean up and I don't know that he can do it all. But I believe he will try and for that I am so happy that I went outside this evening and danced in the street and cried tears of joy. Yay Obama!
Yes We Can
Hell yes we can.
Well, I don't dance (lucky you), but I'm glad that I lived to see this. Commentator Keith Olbermann compared it to landing on the moon. I think it's way bigger than that. We can worry about the tough slog tomorrow; today, take the day off.
Yeah, baby!!! I'm still trying to scrape myself off the ceiling. Oh happy day. President Obama.
I'm thrilled too. But I still can't fathom how mccain't got 46% of the popular vote.
BUT, I'm ashamed and disgusted that california, a blue state, managed to vote 52% in support of taking away the civil rights of gay people. The passing of prop 8, a proposition that doesn't even belong on the fucking ballot, makes me sick and takes away much of my happiness.
god damnit.
