Iraq - Killing Women And Children

Is this what we want? Is this how we want to be thought of as a nation? People who order the murders of defenseless women and children? Who order our military men to shoot to kill unarmed civilians?

Raw Story reports that Marine Sergeant Frank Wuterich ordered marines under his command to shoot women and children. If this is true, he deserves a stiff sentence. But it's really only the tip of the iceberg. The people responsible for setting the policies that took the lives of elderly, disabled, unarmed, underage, civilians - Alberto Gonzales, John Yoo, Donald Rumsfeld, and all their ilk - those are the people who ought to be sitting in chains in small cells in a prison somewhere.

Such egregious violations of everything civilized humans hold sacred have not been seen since the Nazi war crimes. A sea of blood marks their crimes, and they can never wash their stained and filthy consciences clean.

How is it that the same people who trumpet "personal responsibility" so loudly have all slinked away into the night, without admitting any responsibility at all, and will cravenly allow the low people on the totem pole to suffer any consequences?
