Caturday!
ICHC, Cattitude, Inc.
Yes, it's that time of week again. Today we're doing much better here at Casa de Los Gatos, despite excruciating pain (we're cutting back on the brain-destroying medication. Bugger the pain).
Today's posts have been pretty uniformly depressing. Therefore we pronounce today Caturday, in which we feature the usual conglomeration of cats and cattitude. Fuck it. Who needs to be depressed? We need fucking barbeque, goddam it. It's Memorial Day weekend, and even though we at La Casa de Los Gatos are freezing our fucking combined ass off, we've got the heat on, the fluffy covers, our warm sox, and five snoring schnorrer cats hulking about in various stages of sleep all over the giant bed.
The working stiffs among us get Monday off. The military families get to honour and remember their lost loved ones. The rest of us are just getting drunk off our ass and eating whatever we can stuff in our gobs. (Hey, take a few minutes out of your sozzled day to remember those veterans who served their country, OK?)
Enjoy your barbeque, y'all. I'm gonna drink some nice wine and read and work on my art project.
Meanwhile, for your enjoyment, much felinitude:
Gustav and Gojira forget their animosity in the interest of mutual body heat conservation
Gustav is the Japanese bobtail in the front. Gojira looks like she's saying, "Hey, what's your ass doing in my face?"
Gustav and Bandicoot, The Buddha Cat
Bandicoot: Go ahead and use my fluffy belly as a source of warmf. I'z used to it.
What a sweet kid. He's a surrogate Papa to all the other cats, even total stranger cats who drop by to eat his kibble and revel in his catnip. Even skunks and raccoons are fine in his book.
Madu, rear view
Madu: Dis mai good side. Boy does not like his picture taken. I have no idea why, but a vast collection of blurry shots and pictures of his tail as he leaps out of the frame have convinced me. Schmuck.
Zingiber
Zingiber likes to sleep with his head on a pillow. Of course, he just likes to sleep, period, and if there is no pillow, he'll make do. Fatass.
Regards from La Casa de Los Gatos, everyone. Enjoy your time off. And remember, kittehs like teh barbeque, even if it's not teh cheezbrgr.

Uncle Bob would put the fear in my cat too...possibly even the large dog!! Have a great weekend.
Thanks, themom! You too!
Brrrrrr .... it's cold here in Oaktown too. Last evening, as I sat down to watch "Wire in the Blood", I turned on the heat and was heard to mutter "It's the end of May for goodness sake and I"m turning on the heat!" I felt guilty but did it anyway. See ya tomorrow, PolCat.
