Alas, TPC, you are awesome but I am dumb! The same exact thing happened when I copied from your blog as when I copied from YouTube. Question - When I go to the embed thing in Blogger, and it says hyperlink information type, should I be selecting something other than url? (And don't you love my command of tech talk?) But thank you so much for trying to help me!
If you are trying to copy the embedded video from my page, do not use the link icon on blogger to put them in your blog. Just select the HTML text that you want to copy from my blog post (beginning with angle_bracket_object) and then go to your blog, click Create A New Post, and paste the copied text into the blank page.
If you are trying to copy from Youtube, do not copy the URL in the address bar at the top of the page. Instead, look to the right of your video, where you will see a field called URL. Underneath that is a field called Embed. Place your cursor in that field and click the mouse three times. That selects the entire string of text. Then click copy (or Control-C). That copies the string of text. Then go to your blog, click Create A New Post, and click Control-V to paste the embedded HTML in your post.
Does that make sense? I do so want to see your little darlings on your blog!
