Politics, Entertainment - Jon Stewart, Of Course

Betrayus and BFF
I listened to the Petraeus testimony, or parts of it, anyway, and the bloviating of the gasbag thugs - special mention to Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for her performance as Medea, Ike Skelton for revealing the extent of his vocabulary, and the hopefully soon-to-be-indicted Duncan Hunter (R-in-CoRruption) for the audible jowl-quivering he inflicted on his audience. Age and creeping cynicism are making me increasingly hard to surprise, yet I confess to being amazed at the lickspittle press we have in this country.

There were several editorials casting a hairy eyeball on the dubious assertions of the tinpot general. Yet, by and large, the press were surprisingly complacent and loth to dig up any information that would permit analysis of the tin soldier in context.

It was left to Jon Stewart to perform that task. Check this out. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the video. You will laugh. And, undoubtedly, cry a few bitter tears as you are reminded yet again of the flaccid jelly into which our Fourth Estate has degenerated.
