B.A.D. Featured Bloggers
Whew! When we said we'd try to do several roundups of blogtopia (y,Sctp!) per week, we had no idea it would turn into an almost-daily obsession.
But we keep plugging on. Here, then, is today's roundup of what other folks are saying in Blogtopia.
- The always-entertaining Twisty Faster, gentleman farmer and spinster aunt, has at one of our least favourite "holidays," the pernicious and moneygrubbing "Valentine's Day." This sad triumph of Hallmark cards has gone from a historical event involving much bloodletting to one involving, merely, blood diamonds and blood-colored "hearts" that bear no anatomical resemblance whatever to the real thing. (See the Chinese character for heart, xin, by comparison.) At any rate, Twisty says much of what we feel, most eloquently, and intersperses rants with pictures of Stanley, a very handsome, hay-eatin', Goddard-lovin' equine. We don't particularly care that our blog is a mere cheese-crumb to Twisty's GiantRatBlog. We are content to link and larf.
- Fixer, over at Alternate Brain, points out America's new status as a third-world country.
- Jill, over at Brilliant at Breakfast points out one of the issues with contaminated meat (yes, we're always harping on that problem over here, and read this post and realize why). Dammit.
- Chuck Butcher addresses the issue of the Senate's responsibilities regarding legislation as compared to the House, and lambasts Chimpy McDoodyHead for his idiotic comments on the FISA/PAA legislation;
- and nunya over at politickybitch kicks a little ass on the insane inbreeding that's taking place in Britain's Pakistani community (not like it ain't happening in Pakistan, the dipshits).
