This has been stewing in my brain for a while … and it finally bubbled up to the top: For this particular election, all candidates --ALL OF THEM -- must be absolutely bonkers and we shouldn’t vote for anyone who puts their name forward as a candidate. Why? They have got to be crazy to want to voluntarily take on this job. Look what they have to face:
-- a war that very few people support and will cost trillions and trillions AND is causing bad feelings with most other countries
-- an economy that is in so much trouble – this alone should keep sane folks away from wanting to be president
-- healthcare
-- infrastructure collapsing and corroding
See what I mean?
That's assuming they plan to do actually do anything productive or helpful about any of that. Bush didn't, and he got re-elected. The American people don't appear to expect much...or demand much.
